Matthew has been working in the field of learning and development for 20 years now. He began his career as a Lecturer in Management and Organisational Development at Oxford Brookes University. 15 years ago he set up his own business in Istanbul specialising in business coaching and training and management development. That business became Liberation X in 2003. 9 years ago he and his family moved back to the UK and established the business in Europe.
He has managed a wide variety of major organisational development initiatives worldwide, and has earned a reputation for delivering engaging and cutting-edge training programmes. Specific projects that Matthew has led over the last 10 years include Leadership and Management Development programmes for clients such as Currys and PC World, Rexam, Vodafone, Compass, Medirest, Arcadis, The Dogan Group, Arcelik, Turkcell, Digicel, the Home Office, dfs and Zurich Insurance and Pensions. Literally thousands of people in these organisations have been through extensive training workshops designed by Matthew and delivered by Matthew.
Matthew is passionate about change and his enthusiasm for his work really rubs off on those he collaborates with. His training courses are innovative and unforgettable and lead to real and sustained changes in behaviour and results. He also delivers one to one coaching to people at all levels of the organisation, from owners and shareholders through to senior executives and their teams. He has worked closely with Shane Sutton OBE, the Performance Director of the British Olympic Cycling Team and the personal coach to Sir Bradley Wiggins and Sir Chris Hoy.
Nigel is responsible for all activities before, during and after any initiative that have a positive impact on the clients experience and outcomes.
This is a wide-ranging role that requires a single person to manage a seamless delivery of our products. It involves researching the clients current situation and needs; building rapport and buy-in from a variety of different stakeholders; feeding back to the design and delivery team to ensure the programs deliver what the client wants and beyond; liaising with the client at all stages to align programs with desired outcomes; following up on all initiatives and projects and acting as overall Account and Project Manager.
We have a core team of associate trainers available to us. Each of them has an extensive background in Business, having worked with large corporate multi-nationals, SMEs and Public Sector Organisations. They have all worked in different sectors, different countries and different organisational cultures. They all have experience of collaborating with Senior Management Teams as well as groups at all other levels of the organisation. The one common thread is that with whoever and wherever they have worked, they have produced sustained, excellent results for our customers.
Together with our sister company in Istanbul Turkey, we have the capability to deliver international learning and development projects.
